My Orton Park Photo Project By Mathew Bark
This is another Orton Park and Lawrence building that is in the news for gang activity between orton
Park gangs and the "Galloway boys" also for various raids in the newspaper. There used to be a gas station on the border of the buildings property, but it is currently under construction in the same plaza is a laundry mat.

This is a park off Northfield road, A street off Orton Park, this park is just open nothing there no jungle gyms for kids to play on. There is other parks at G.B Little( A Local School) and Curran Hall Community Center. Its mostly for walking dogs but this just shows you about the woods behind Orton Park. There is known to be some foxes, deer, racoons, and even some fish living in the "Orton Park Woods"

This Is Used To Exercise Yourself Or Your Most Favourite Pet.Mostly for adults nothing really for little kids to to out and have fun on.Its because of the reputation of the neighborhood which doesnt allow for the placement of parks thinking it will just lead to more illegal activities .I only chose one link it speaks for itself and about the life here but i think it only effects the people living that life but on second thought i changed my mind the city judges our community on the actions of others and we all suffer and are unable to gain access to most city funding to fix our roads and why businesses don't want a franchise in our neighborhood. There isn't Really A History To Orton Park but there is a future and right now it all all negative and that needs to change.A history of gang violence and street wars with Galloway .The question is this what we want for our community?I don't because i don't want children to be judged on the safety of the neighborhood they are from.
